7th Heaven Palace: Season Ten


1. It's Late:
The entire Glen Oak community and church congregation is up in arms when Lucy gives a contraversial speech in her Sunday sermon about working mothers in general---and people lash out to her in public. Eric and Lucy also have a big argument over the matter and her insensitive comments. Annie and Eric prepare for the arrival of Colonel John Camden and Grandma Ruth on how to tell them about Mary and Carlos divorcing, and not letting the rest of the family tell them prior before they do---particularly the twins. Engaged couple Simon and Rose (guest star Sarah Thompson) drop by in Glen Oak to spend time with the family with the arrival of Simon's grandparents, whom Rose wants to meet and also spending time with Martin and his new girlfriend Sandy. Also, hints go around that Martin may have lost his virginity to Sandy. Ruthie is also spending time with couple Meredith and Jack, but may be becoming a third wheel in their relationship.

2. Home Run:
The episode begins at night with Kevin on duty and his partner for the night, Jim helping two other officers escort a handcuffed suspect to their car after a crime scene. When Kevin and Jim are done they start to go back to their car when Kevin and a 10-year old boy gesture each other as they walk past one another. But afterwards when the Kevin and Jim get near their car the kid pulls out a gun from the waist of his pants and tries to shoot Kevin and Jim, but misses when Kevin and Jim duck for cover behind their car just in time. The kid runs away as both cops are startled.

3. Moma's Gonna Buy You a Diamond Ring:
Kevin comes to the decision to leave the police force after his near death experience after being nearly killed by a kid who had a gun and tried to shoot him (i.e Home Run). He’s more cautious to keep himself safe due to his duties as a family man to Lucy and Savannah. Unfortunately, Kevin has not yet announced his plans to Lucy, but rather to a bunch of new mommies at a “Mommy and Me” session at the local community center that he attends. In fact, Lucy doesn’t even know Kevin was even nearly shot as Kevin tries to keep that a secret until someone decides spills the beans to Lucy at at the local church party. A pregnant Sandy decides to move into Rose’s old apartment as she no longer wants to stay in the college dorms anymore. Rose decides it’s the perfect excuse to move into Simon’s apartment with him---which she does. Eric and his new band play their music at the church as patrons from the church come and celebrate an event. Martin plays matchmaker for Ruthie, as she has given up guys for the moment---but is willing to take Martin’s offer of helping her out in which guy she should date next.

4. Ring Around The Rosie:
Lucy is counseling a girl named Lizzie who fears she is pregnant and needs help telling her parents. She feels that she believes what is said in that class, but when she is with her boyfriend she has sex because she loves him. Lizzie later finds out that she is not pregnant, but Lucy still encourages her to tell her parents that she is sexually active. Ruthie is beginning to have feelings toward Martin. Meanwhile, Rose is angry with Simon.

5. The Rat's Out of the Bag:
Matt makes a surprise visit to Glen Oak and accompanies Kevin to a children's party where he dresses up into character. Elsewhere, Lucy goes to see Sandy on a private matter that involves Martin, but lies to Kevin that she is going to visit Simon. Matt and Kevin decide it's best to follow her. Meanwhile, Eric has some suspicions of his own regarding Lucy's visit to Simon, and after spying on her, he also finds out about the pregnancy and Martin's involvement.Lastly, Ruthie is suspicious of Martin as she wonders why he doesn't keep his cell phone anymore.

6. Helpful:
Ruthie has a new crush on a guy that she goes to school with, Brian who is around 18 years-old and is shortstop on the school's baseball team. Ruthie encountered Brian when she was riding bikes with Sam and David earlier in the day. When they come home Sam and David try to embarrass her in front of Eric on her "new boyfriend" that Eric doesn't know about. Ruthie lies to Eric when saying that he is only 16 and hopes that he'll let her go out with him and double date with Martin and Meredith. Eric hints that Ruthie still has a crush on Martin even though he's dating Meredith and that one day they may not be anymore.

7. Soup's On
When Sandy's (Haylie Duff) father (guest star Michael McDonald) approaches Eric and Lucy with plans of helping his daughter, they are suspicious of the large sum of money he leaves with them. Meanwhile, Martin decides it's time to confront his father (guest star Costas Mandylor) with the news that he and Sandy are expecting a child. Simon, who is experiencing financial problems, goes to each family member for help. Lastly, Ruthie begins collecting soup labels for Campbell Soup's Labels for Education program to get her school's newspaper a much-needed computer.

8. Chicken Noodle Heads:
Ruthie has the flu. Eric is also not feeling too good in this episode as Annie wants to take him to the doctor as well, but Eric contest he does not have Ruthie's flu, just upset and restless from a bad day. A tired Eric tries to talk to Sandy's mom Ellen and her step-dad Rob about Sandy's pregnancy situation and what they could do to help make things better. Eric hopes it'll go better than what happened earlier with Sandy's real dad, who is a drunk. Unfortunately, both are deeply tired of Sandy and her on-going drama. Lucy is deeply annoyed by Kevin as he councils a former "Mommy and Me" mom Sally over how to parent her little boy who's constantly crying when he's around her. Kevin is giving her this advice while Lucy and Kevin walk Savannah in the park. Lastly, a misunderstanding between Ruthie and Jack on whether they should go out is known when he tells her that Martin discouraged him ffrom asking her out. Ruthie is shocked.

9. Turkey:
It's Thanksgiving time. The rumored news about Martin being an expectant father has finally been let out of the bag. At school, everyone thinks that Ruthie is the one who is pregnant with Martin's baby, as she was previously out of school for awhile with the flu, and everyone assuming it was morning sickness. Meredith and Martin have broken up over the unravel. Meredith gets support from her sister Kelly. Despite the rumors Ruthie tries her best to avoid them, hoping to still have a chance with Martin if they are not true. Ruthie has also taken up a project in collecting labels in order to get a new computer for the school. She gets encouragement from her teacher Ms. Allison, who also persuades her to join the school newspaper. Although, once finding out the news about Martin and Sandy, Ruthie is crushed and has a hard time getting into the Thanksgiving spirit. Also, Eric and Annie work harder at trying to be nicer to Rose as she's along with the family for Thanksgiving. Lastly, the Camden's celebrate Thanksgiving dinner at the Glen Oak Church where they help feed the homeless.

10. Apple Pie:
It's the Christmas season. Rose is at a turning point in her relationship with Simon. Rose makes a visit to see her father Philip and discusses her relationship with Simon. Rose tells her dad about her being embarrassed about his numerous failed marriages as well as her mothers. That is the reason why she hasn't introduced her family to Simon yet. Philip encounrages Rose to hold back on marriage with Simon and just live with him, whil Rose debates that she tried that and the Camden's hate her even more. Simon drops by to Glen Oak to talk to Eric and have...pie. Eric is concerned that Rose and Simon are a little too clingy with each other as they always want to know where the other one is all the time. Lastly, Lucy lectures Kevin after apparnetly getting into a fight earlier.

11. Xmas
The Camdens are in the Christmas spirit in this episode. In a montage with the song "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree", Eric is spending time at a retirement home and dancing with the elderly patrons. Ruthie is volunteering at the hospital and gives gifts to kid patients, even her old firend Katelyn (guest star Katelyn Salmont). Lucy is working again for Habitat for Humanity again. Annie, Sam and David are talking and spending time to Sudanese students at a Catholic church. Kevin dress up as Santa and hands out gifts at the pool hall with Savannah by her side. Kevin takes a lost dog to the kennel, but chancges his mind afterwards and gives it to a deserving family.

12. Got MLK
Martin and Ruthie befriend a black kid named Alex who is senior and has just joined HS baseball team. Alex gets into a debate with his teacher Mrs. Porter, in Ruthie's class, over doing another report about Martin Luther King Jr. when he did one already the previous week on MLK holiday. Alex argues that he couldn't get his whole message in one day and doesn't like restricting on talking about Martin Luther King Jr. on just a holiday like Christmas.

Martin finds his car vandalized in the school parking lot with a hateful message on his car back window (i.e.*****lover). Martin refuses to move the car until the culprit cleans it themselves, despite a huge crowd growing in the parking lot and objection of the vice prinicpal and threatens to tow his car.

Eric addresses the tension in his Sunday sermon and know one fully comes forth on who vandalizes Alex's car. Alex also tells the congregation why talking about MLK a lot is important to him. Brad apologizes over his reasons on why he was upset even though he didn't vandalize his car. Martin and Alex wash the car themselves afterwards and have a car wash. The episode ends with students in Ruthie's class give out the names of important African American figures in society.

13. And Baby Makes Three
Simon, Rose and Sandy are at the hospital emergency room. Simon and Rose continue to argue about their wedding plans as Rose is concerned about Simon's lack of enthusiasm. All of this is happening while the EMT is wheeling Sandy to the emergency room in the background. Martin has an interview with a baseball scouter, Tim McDonald and sees him in his coaches office. Tim offers Martin a full scholarship and a good deal on college despite his "situation" with Sandy, but Martin is reluctnant to take it as he senses Rev. Camden had something to do with it.

14. The Magic of Gershwin:
Ruthie gets detention when she is late for class after crying about Martin in the bathroom. Unexpectedly, she finds detention is a blast when the teacher in charge (guest-star Michael Feinstein) introduces them to the music of George Gershwin. With the music program being cut at the high school, students begin purposely landing in detention so they can discuss music. Meanwhile, The Camdens rally to help a friend of Ruthie's, who is hiding a secret, and Rose pressures Simon to pick their wedding song. Finally, Ruthie is upset when Simon informs her that Martin is attempting to care for Sandy and the baby.

15. Love and Obsession:
On Valentine's Day, Rose decides to tell Simon that she does not want to get married in a church, which leaves Simon frustrated and befuddled. Meanwhile, Kevin organizes a Valentine's Day dinner at the same hotel where he and Lucy got engaged three years ago. Kevin invites Eric, Annie, Simon and Rose to join them, but neglects to tell Lucy about the arranged setting. Lucy shows up in a sexy outfit and is shocked to see that her family is there, leaving her embarrassed. Lastly, Ruthie volunteers to help an elderly neighbor who has spent her life pining away for a particular man that got away. This inevitably causes Ruthie to evaluate her obsession with Martin.

16. Moving Ahead:
Lucy's life gets more complicated personally and professionally when both are intertwined with big news. Lucy begins to feel the presence of her late grandma Jenny visiting her and warning her of the challenges that are coming in her life soon. At the same time, Lucy secretly goes to see a doctor to find out if she is pregnant, but forgets to attend an important church meeting where she is an attendee. Meanwhile, Annie and Ruthie decide to take a day off together to unwind. Unfortunately, mother and daughter accidentally run into one of Ruthie's teachers. Ruthie's teacher gives Annie a lecture on her parenting in this situation. Rose is still angry that Simon neglected to tell her that he slept with Sandy. Lastly, Eric unintentionally shakes things up between Rose and Simon.

17. Highway to Cell:
Simon meets Rose's ex-fiance Umberto (guest-star Fidel Gomez) after she invites him over for a dinner for the two guys to get acquainted. Which brings up Rose and Umberto past which lead to a shocking question and then Simon get a phone call from a friend After a long wait Ruthie finally gets a cell phone from her parents, but is saddened that she has no boyfriend to give her number out to call her. Eric and Kevin try helping Ruthie out of her depression by giving out her number to some of her former boyfriends. The task proves to be a success as Ruthie starts to rekindle a relationship again with Peter: Padrewski (guest star Scott Leavenworth) after calling each other.

18. Invitation to Disaster:
After talking to Kevin, Rose and Simon consider eloping when they learn their wedding conflicts with Matt's graduation from med school. Annie plots to have the nuptials postponed for good and finds an unexpected ally with Rose’s ex-finacé, Umberto (guest star Fidel Gomez) as they both conspire to talk Rose out of eloping. Finally, Rose realizes she has been difficult and tries to mend her relationship with some of the Camden family members. Ruthie asks Eric if she can go to Scotland as an exchange student, but Eric knows her real motive is to be with Peter (guest star Scotty Leavenworth).

19. Secrets...:
Following their heart-to-heart talk, Rose and Annie begin to bond over Rose’s wedding shower, forming such a close relationship that Ruthie and Lucy begin to feel jealous. A curious Sam and David try using Oreos and milk to get family members to give up their secrets to them. Eric admits that he lost his wedding ring soon after marrying Annie. All this time Eric has been wearing a copy of the original all these years. Meanwhile, Simon confesses to his family that he accepted incompletes in all his classes in order to work and pay off Rose’s ring. Lastly, Kevin divulges the fact that he and Lucy are planning to pay for Rose’s ring as a wedding gift to the couple.

20. And More Secrets:
Lucy urges Rose to tell Simon the truth, and then is shocked to learn her mother cursed someone. Eric blesses him to make up for it. Lucy and Kevin show their support for Rose and Simon by paying for her ring. Kevin, Eric and Savannah hide their ER visit from Lucy.

21. Goodbye and Thankyou Part 1:
It's a day before Simon and Rose's wedding and the Camden family goes back into reflecting past times (i.e. flashbacks to pilot episode). Meanwhile, Lucy and Kevin find out the sex of the baby, but also with a multiple twist. They decide to keep it a secret from the family until after the wedding. Also, Rose tells Simon that she might be pregnant which makes Simon more anxious about the whole wedding situation. But once Eric, Annie and Rose's parents hear this news at the dress rehearsal dinner they suspect she's making it up so Simon will really go through with the wedding. Lastly, Ruthie meets Paul (guest star Max Roeg), a boy from Scotland who asks her out on a date.

22. Goodbye and Thankyou Part 2:
In the series finale of "7th Heaven", it is Simon's wedding day. Things become smoother between Rose and Simon since making up after the rehearsal dinner. Big brother Matt (guest-star Barry Watson) and wife Sarah drop into town on Simon's special day, but the couple has major news of their own to tell the rest of the family. Meanwhile, Kevin and Lucy make a special announcement at the wedding regarding Lucy and her pregnancy. Also long-absent Mary (special guest-star Jessica Biel) appears in Eric and Annie’s shared daydream and makes a call to the family to share her own good news about herself, Carlos and little Charlie. Sandy also makes a special appearance at Rose and Simons' wedding. Lastly, despite many complications and make-ups, Simon and Roses' wedding day ends in a way no one would have predicted.
